Oil & Pastel Paintings Inspired by Nature
I’m Wendi C. Smith, a landscape artist and painter living on beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I paint in my home studio and outside from life, en plein air on Cape Cod and southwest Florida using soft pastels and oil.
My work is loose and painterly with subjects including seascapes, waves, and floral gardens. I enjoy the challenge of capturing light, movement and a moment in time.
I teach workshops for beginner pastel painting, pastel waves and landscape paintings in several Cape Cod Art Centers.
I hope my paintings help you find joy and inspire memories of your own happy times and places.
